Shaping the brand and digital presence of a renowned architecture firm

PBWC Architects create beautiful spaces and communities that put people first. But their brand and website had not been updated for 15 years and didn’t serve their clients effectively.

We set out to communicate PBWC’s difference: championing their human-centric approach to the built environment and the collaboration and connections that form not only their spaces, but their process too.

We crafted a new brand identity based on the company’s ethos, visually capturing how they create spaces and communities that put people first.

A digital space fit for champions of physical environments

PBWC needed a complete overhaul of their existing website. It was fundamental that the new brand was brought to life and the site could be easily updated internally to showcase their outstanding work.

From the results of our customer and employee surveys, we designed for their needs, resulting in a website that heroes beautiful imagery, proud typography, digestible finer details and PBWC’s 50 year heritage.

Our new brand and website delivered by Hancock and Rowe establishes and celebrates the quality work that PBWC delivers. The website can now play a key role in our new marketing strategy as we look to grow the business and attract new talent to support that growth.

Chris Turner, Director, PBWC

Showcasing a range of sectors

PBWC has a reputation for innovative and sustainable solutions to challenging architectural projects. It was paramount that the projects shown on the website showcased the company’s consistent track record of design awards and its reputation for delivering high quality outcomes on time and on budget. We developed new templates to do this seamlessly.

A dedicated jobs board to support a growing team

With PBWC’s reputation for outstanding work, the practice comprises a team of talented architects and technologists that champion, conservation, sustainability and innovative construction. Having a dedicated Careers section on their website allows PBWC attract the best talent and manage the application process effectively.

Built on Craft CMS for easy content management and workflows

Craft CMS enables unrivalled management and editing of content, we made sure every page was injected with character, allowing the digital experience to be as streamlined as possible.

New branding to reflect the ethos of PBWC

PBWC believes hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder, they can positively enrich lives and the environments in which we inhabit, bringing a better sense of health and well-being to all. They needed a brand to reflect this. We crafted the core identity based on the company’s approach and visually capturing how they are a collaborative partnership; creating spaces and communities that put the people first.
